Chris Baker, HIS
Chris Baker is a Hearing Care Practitioner, joining Beltone in 2015.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Baker University in 2008 and holds a Hearing Instrument Specialist license in the State of Kansas.
Chris began serving the hearing impaired in the KC area before returning to his hometown of Lawrence, KS to help patients in Lawrence and Topeka. He’s had a passion for improving the lives of the hearing impaired with the best possible service, utilizing Beltone’s award winning, industry leading hearing technology. He means it when he says that we have something for everyone, for every lifestyle and every budget. Since 2022, he’s begun an annual “Easter Egg Hunt Giveaway” in the Lawrence & Topeka offices, where he provides several hundred easter egg hunt kits for children in the surrounding areas, hoping to provide a fun easter morning for parents that might otherwise not be able to do so.
In 2016, Chris was recognized as a “Rookie of the Year” for providing the best service amongst all new practitioners within Beltone. In 2016, he also achieved Master status amongst his peers. In 2017 and 2018, he reached Advanced Master status, and since 2019 has attained Senior Master status each year. In 2018, Chris was given the “Beltone Experience Award.”
Chris and the Beltone staff are committed to providing exceptional hearing care to the Topeka & Lawrence communities. We love helping people discover how the right hearing solutions can dramatically change their lives for the better.
When Chris isn’t seeing patients at the office, he can usually be found spending time with his three daughters Taylor, Hannah and Charlotte, or their Australian Shepherd, Bindi. Chris is proudly a self-professed “geek” as he enjoyed playing with technology in many forms, particularly smart phones, computers, smart home devices, and home theater equipment. He once co-founded a Church in Lawrence, KS (Eastlake Community Church) and now attends Relevate church in Lawrence. Raised in a military household all over the world, he has a deep respect for veterans, as well as an abiding interest in military history.
