Be Proactive. Not Reactive.
It’s important to use all hearing devices responsibly, as recent studies have shown a link between ringing in the ears (Tinnitus) and unsafe volume levels.
Whether you are looking for an affordable option or the latest technology in the market, Beltone has a hearing device option that suits every patient’s needs.
Overloaded ears (ears constantly exposed to high volumes of noise) age 50% faster than ears not overly aggravated with sound. And the world seems to just keep getting louder. It’s your time to responsibly protect your ears and hearing health.
Can Tinnitus be prevented? You can’t prevent tinnitus in every case but you can take action to protect your hearing. One of those actions includes being mindful of volume levels anytime you are using earbuds or headphones.

Best Hearing Practices
Good Rule of Thumb: If someone can hear music through your headphones or you can hear someone’s music through their headphones – the noise is too loud & the decibels produced are too high to maintain your hearing health.
You should only use earbuds and headphones at levels up to 60% of the maximum volume and for a maximum total of 60 minutes a day. The louder the volume, the shorter your duration should be.
Volume Matters
What volumes you are regularly exposed to matters. Check out the chart to see what decibel levels can be dangerous to your hearing, and common sounds correlated with them.
